The “Padstow website” for everything you need to know about Padstow in Cornwall.  Click the link to find out where to shop, where to eat, where to stay (holiday accommodation) and other businesses in the town.  The site provides details of many different types of shops whether you want a food shop, to buy some shoes or to wander round a craft shop.   If you want to eat out you will find a list of restaurants, cafes and takeaways, including the seafood restaurant (owned by Rick Stein).  The holiday accommodation listed on the site includes: self catering cottages, apartments, houses, flats and bungalows: bed and breakfast, hotels and caravan sites/parks.  We also lists banks, insurance brokers, chemists, estate agents, laundry services, hairdressers, estate agents and even Rick Stein’s seafood cookery school.

COACH SERVICES 

There is a National Express coach service to Wadebridge from London and other destinations (this may involve one or more changes).  

Example of coach service - from London Victoria to Wadebridge scheduled journey time just under 6.5 hours.

TRAIN SERVICES 

Various train operators run services to Bodmin Parkway mainline station.  

National Railway Enquiries help line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide information, train times, fares information and restrictions, details of special offers and engineering works. Call 08457 484950 - 24 hours

Bus Services in the area are run by three different carriers - their web links are below. AIR SERVICES

The local airport is at St Mawgan, near Newquay.  Telephone 01637 860551.  .  Two carriers provide services.

PADSTOW FERRY

Padstow Ferry. Click to enlarge.

There is a passenger ferry from Padstow to Rock on the other side of the Camel estuary.  This runs from Padstow harbour, except at low tide when there is a special landing stage on the other side of Chapel Stile Field (signs direct you from the harbour).  The ferry runs regularly throughout the year.
